Can you think of a more beautiful place to get married than Central Oregon?! And really Oregon in general! I am Ashleigh, the photographer behind Red Aspen Photography. With over 10 years of capturing weddings, I cannot imagine doing anything else!

I see myself as a historian, documenter, and storyteller through my work. I love thinking that my images will hopefully be passed along for many generations! Photos bring back emotions, memories, tender experiences, joyous times. A way to recall and to remember. I approach my work in collaborating amazing Oregon landscapes, with couples celebrating, and all the in-between moments that happen. I am always anticipating the event that may occur before it does. After many years, it’s what allows that documentary and lifestyle approach to come to light and capture the moments that you may miss on your wedding day.

When working with couples, I realize it’s not always the most comfortable having a camera around (I always try to make it though!) I help everyone feel at ease in-front of the camera and when working with me. This allows for a relaxed, natural and real experience.

My philosophy with my work is to capture the beauty of a person’s reality. I feel honored to be invited into telling these stories of love and weddings, and expressing who my couples are through images.
